Boo Boos and Scraps Mini Class on Wednesday All Levels with Joyce Estes If you are like Joyce, you have an overload of silk mistakes and scraps. She is always trying to be thrifty and use them up, so she has come up with some ideas using her scrap bag and Color Hue Dyes. One, is the silk bead necklace, not her original idea,(she gives credit to Arele Vallaly) but she uses scraps, and blends the colors with Color Hue Dyes and it helps make the colors flow more evenly. Also, she makes kits to teach using Color Hue Dyes. Another way to use those scraps is stripping the silk and using the Color Hue Dyes to blend colors. This makes a beautiful weaving to make scarves and pillow shams. Another way is to create bookmarks and also to decoupage on glass plates and coasters.
