Experimental approaches and unconventional applications of different resists will free the artist from sole reliance of gutta. Using these new techniques and a creative blending of colors will allow the artist to create dramatic, vibrant skies and landscapes.

By treating the silk with a sizing and working on heavier silk, a more painterly approach is explored to depict landscapes.

This workshop is for the artist who wants more freedom when painting with dye on silk.

Diane is originally from St. Louis, MO. Diane attended the Kansas City Art Institute and the University of Missouri.
