Take a graphic motif, like, say a butterfly or an exotic flower, then surround that butterfly or flower with a 60's style psychedelic motif reminiscent of the master Italian colorist Emillio Pucci, famous for his color drenched, swirling designs on silk for clothing and scarves. Students will work freehand directly onto the silk to achieve a free flowing technique that liberates any artistic restrictions and create a cool scarf to wear or display.

PJ Cobbs is a dynamic silk artist from New York City. She has teaching experience at the Textile Art Center in Brooklyn, NY, Newark Museum, New York Public Library, Art School of Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii and Hiui No'eau Visual Arts Center Maui, Hawaii.
