Authors: Nadia Azumi

Some examples of Silk Painting Dyes.

Jacquard green label.

These are the dyes that are used for steaming and silk painting. Make sure that you check the label which says GREEN LABEL.

You can use the Serti ,alcohol and salt but again make sure that you dilute the dyes. They are great after being steamed as well and are not that expensive.

Dupont.

Dupont dyes are the most used around the world, because of the beauty of the colors and the variety. it is important to use dilutants  for these dyes.

Dupont dyes are to be steam fixed. Once they are steamed the colors are vibrant and beautiful. You can use the Serti method with these dyes, and the results are fantastic.
