Registration will be held in the Auditorium Lobby located in the Library and Technology Center. You will be able to register from 12:00 to 3:00.  At this time you will receive your tote bag, program, name badge and room assignment & keys if you are staying in the dorm.  Parking is available near the building.  View a map of the IAIA campus.

Vendors:  Vendors large and small will be available to you on the second floor of the CLE building.  Many vendors will have art supplies you may have forgotten or didn't know you needed.  There will also be authors of newly published books.  You will be able to review, order or pehaps purchase these and many other items. If you are interested in securing your own table, please contact Addie Chernus.

SPIN's festival office is also located in the CLE building.

Campus Tours:  If you've never visited the IAIA campus before, this is an excellent opportunity to take the tour and gain a better understanding of the campus layout.  The first tour will begin at  the CLE building.  The other tour will begin at the Library building both at 2:00 pm.  Same tour.  Different departure points.

Volunteer Meeting:  Since 99% of us are volunteers, we know that there are still many jobs that we need filled on site.  Many of you have already voiced an interest in volunteering, so Anne Gordon Fritz will meet you in the auditorium in the Library and Technology Center.

Opening Reception:  Saturday evening's reception will be held in one of the new buildings.  Hors d'oeuvres will be served.  For the first time we will be greeted by the President of IAIA, Dr. Robert Martin.

Sunday's Meeting:  Sunday's meeting is designed to launch us into a spectacular week.

We will be introducing the new officers elected by the SPIN Board.  Our general meeting will be open to those members in attendance.  We will also be treated to our Keynote speaker, Jane Dunnewold, for whom we've all been waiting.  The rest of Sunday is yours to spend as you wish.

Lecture Series:  The idea behind the morning lectures is twofold.  Firstly, we wanted the overall topic to be about the elements of design. Therefore, the lectures presented by our speakers are designed to focus on those key elements.  Secondly, we wanted everyone to have the luxury of thinking with both sides of their brains everyday.  By beginning your day with a short lecture followed by invigorating and creative workshops, we think you'll get the best of both worlds.

Evening Activities:  These are being held Mon.-Thurs from 6:30-8:00.

Monday:  Show and Tell:  If you have a new technique or a studio improvement you wish to share bring it to Monday night's activity.  If you would like to reserve table space just let us know by contacting Aileen Horn or Kaki Steward.  Remember this is an opportunity to share and network.  If you'd rather sell your creations, you can rent a vendor's table by contacting Addie Chernus.

Tuesday:  All of the attending Signature members will present an evening program.

Wednesday:  The art exhibit entitled "The Seasons of Silk” will be held in the newly renovated gallery.  The judge's winners will be announced.

Thursday:   The Chapter Quilt show will be held in the Hogan.  Each contributing chapter will present their members' quilt.  Attendees will be able to review the activities of the represented chapters.

Friday:  The Fashion Show entitled "Changing Elements", our culminating event, will take place on another campus, the University of Art and Design in Santa Fe, and begin at 6:30. After the Fashion Show there will be an After Hour Soiree with refreshments, entertainment and the Designers Boutique Display.
