April 2006 Silk painter Ursula Wamister was born in Switerland in 1949. She started painting on silk in 1995 and is inspired by her annual travels to exotic locations around the world, including Africa, Indonesia, South Sea, Caribbean. She works from her studio near Berne Switzerland, close to the Swiss Alps. Ursula is continually designing and creating new pieces of wall art, as well as wearable art. In addition, Ursula is Switzerland�s representative of SPIN Silk painters International.
